Councillors unanimously approve Arc
We are delighted that councillors voted unanimously to grant planning permission for Arc at the Planning Committee 15th April 2021. Having carefully weighed all the public benefits to the city which Arc will bring in terms of education, additional spend, employment and pure enjoyment against Arc's proximity to the Cathedral and its 800 years of continuously changing history, councillors overturned officers' recommendation to refuse consent on the grounds of harm to heritage.
